MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!
Want to let the Library know how we can make our services better for you and your friends?
If you have something to say, now is the time! The TAB (Teen Advisory Board) is a group of 20 teens in grades 6-12 who work together with Teen Library staff to make the Collierville Library a better place for Teens.
Members will attend our monthly meetings and let us know what you think!
- What activities are important for the Library to have?
- What books and magazines do you want the library to offer?
- Review and discuss books
- Publicize the library's teen activities to peers
- Earn Community Service Hours
- Make New Friends
- Develop Leadership Skills
- Membership benefits your resume and college applications
If you are interested, please print the application form which includes parental permission, and turn in the completed form to the Information Desk. Please note that TAB members must have valid Collierville Library cards.
A board member may be any student in grades 6-12 who completes an application form, obtains parental permission and holds a library card. Completed applications should be submitted during June and July for the upcoming Board. Once selected, applicants will serve one school year. Once the 20 slots have been filled, any remaining qualified applicants will be placed on a waiting list in the event an opening becomes available. Return your completed application form to the Information Desk.
When does the Board meet?
Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, August through May.
