The Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library is pleased to offer free meeting room space to local non-profit organizations. There is a two hour time period per meeting. Non-profit organizations will be charged an hourly rate of $30 if they occupy the room 10 minutes past the two hour time period.The Library offers meeting space to businesses and organizations at $30/hr.
The meeting room seats 40 people and is equipped with a digital projection system. The Library's wireless Internet service is available. The Library does not offer technical support on individual laptops.
Groups are limited to one reservation per month to ensure that meeting room space is available to as many organizations as possible. Groups can reserve the meeting room for the current month and the following two months in advance of their meeting. The meeting room will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Meetings must take place within library hours and the conference room must be vacant before closing.
To reserve the room, you may print and complete the Library Meeting Room Application 2016 or the Library Meeting Room Application 2017 and bring it to the Information Desk during regular business hours.
The Halle Conference Room is locked when not in use. Patrons with a reservation should check at the Reference Desk for access to the room. Drinks and food are allowed in the conference room. The room should be left clean and orderly at the completion of your reservation. A trash can for food items is available in the room
