The Friends have joined the celebration honoring the 100th anniversary of the Collierville High School. Handsome wooden reproductions of the original high school are available for $10. This is the first collectible in a series of three Collierville landmarks. Reproductions of the Town Square and the Train Depot are also available for $10 each or set of 3 for $25. The back of each piece features a brief description of the building or site. Proceeds from the sale of these reproductions directly benefit the Library's programs and services. The collectibles may be purchased at the Brooks Collection and the Friends Again Bookstore. The Friends Again Bookstore is open in the Library foyer Tuesday-Saturday from 11 am-5 pm. The store's phone number is 457-2606.
The Friends sponsor a monthly book club with reading materials provided by the Anne Babin Book Club in a Bag Program. The groups meets the second Monday of each month at 2:00 in the Halle Room. New readers are always welcome.
The Spring Book Sale is held in April and the Fall Book Sale is held in October. Check the library's Events Calendar for more information about the book sales.
The Friends of the Collierville Burch Library are pleased to accept new and gently used books. Donations are either added to the library collection or sold by the Friends to raise funds for library needs. Clear off your bookshelves, search your closets, look under the kid's beds, and check the back seat of your car: we need your gently used books. Our book sales depend on your donations.
We now have a book drop for our donations! It's located in the foyer to the left of the entry into the library. Just deposit your books into the book drop.
If you need a tax form, they are still available in the Friends Again Bookstore.
