Anyone Can Use FB pinterest 2017 optAnyone Can Use classes will help you learn the basics of social media in one hour. On Friday, November 3rd you can learn how to use Facebook. On Friday, November 17th, you can learn how to use Pinterest. Classes are from 11am - 12pm. There will be time after each class for staff to assist with personal devices. Visit galleries at the Morton Museum, Collierville Town Hall, and the Collierville Burch Library by riding Collierville’s famous Double Decker Bus.

The CCC Boys Of Tennessee: A Musical Tribute to the Civilian Conservation Corps

CCC Boy Nov 2017 optMichigan based author/songwriter Bill Jamerson will present a nostalgic music and storytelling program for all ages about the CCC at the Collierville Burch Library, followed by a Q&A period and book signing on Sunday, November 5th from 3-4 pm. Dressed in uniform, Jamerson will share stories about the CCC, read excerpts from his book, show a short video from his PBS film, and sing original songs with his guitar! Please bring your CCC photos and memorabilia to share!

Murder on the Orient Express Book Club

Join us for a discussion of Agatha Christie's famous story of murder and suspense, Murder on the Orient Express on November 6 from 5:30-7:00 pm at the Collierville Train Depot on the Town Square. Then at a later date, we will be meeting at the Malco Theater to watch the new adaption of this classic. The date and time of the movie viewing will be decided at the book discussion. Collierville's Soil Soldiers: The New Deal in Collierville

Colliervilles Soil Soldiers Nov 2017 optAshley Carver, Director of Collierville Tourism, will lead a discussion about the Civilian Conservation Corp Camp that was located in Collierville from 1935 to 1940 on Wednesday, November 8th from 2-3pm in the Halle Room. The talk will include a discussion of the research process, a historical overview of the camp in Collierville, the community's response to having an African American camp in Town, as well as the positive impact to the local farming economy.
